I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who is licensed to practice under regular clinical supervision.
I provide my clients with a warm, client-centered, and integrative approach to therapy. I have an educational and professional background rooted in anti-oppressive, feminist, and culturally informed theoretical frameworks.
Some of the therapeutic frameworks I use most often include trauma care approaches, parts work, EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion-Focus Therapy (EFT), attachment theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).
My areas of interest include relationship concerns, struggles with body image, motivation and drive, confidence, trauma, sexual violence, anxiety, depression, and more. I have experience working in sexual assault crisis counselling and understand the importance of placing my clients as the experts on their own lives.
By emphasizing a strong therapeutic bond with my clients, I try to foster empowerment and resilience that my clients can harness outside of the therapeutic environment.
In my free time, I enjoy backcountry camping and having nights out with her girlfriends. As someone who has benefited from therapy myself, I understand the trials and tribulations of finding a therapist who is right for you and the difficulties associated with personal growth. I believe that regardless of where you are on your journey, I can contribute by providing a listening ear, resources, and the commitment necessary to meet your unique needs.
